Our colleague, Irene Schrøder is now a Qualified Intellectual Property Administrator (QIPA)

We are happy to announce that today, our patent administrator Irene Sylvia Schrøder successfully passed her final exam and she has now earned the title Qualified Intellectual Property Administrator (QIPA). The education is arranged by the “Danish Association of Intellectual Property Administrators” (DAIPA) and the Danish Institute for Intellectual Property Institution “Dansk Institut for Immaterialsuddannelse” (DIFI).

The education is based on 3 modules, a basic knowledge course for patent administrators, 2 Advanced courses for patent administrators and lastly, 3 courses on Intellectual Property Rights for patent administrators and Danish patent agents.

The QIPA title may only be awarded to those who passed all 3 professional exams (DAIPA I, II and III) and have at least 3 years of professional experience in case processing.

Nordic Patent Service actively encourages their staff members to undertake continued professional development to the benefit of our clients and of course, staff.

We congratulate Irene for her well-deserved new title.
